Congress chief Rahul Gandhi Tuesday took to X (previously Twitter) to recollect his father and former prime minister, Rajiv Gandhi, on the day of his dying anniversary.
Rahul wrote on X, “Father, your goals, my goals. Your aspirations, my obligations. Your recollections, immediately and at all times, in my coronary heart.”
The day is noticed yearly as Nationwide Anti-Terrorism Day to honour the legacy of the nation’s sixth PM who misplaced his life on Might 21, 1991, in Sriperumbudur, close to Chennai, as a result of an assassination carried out by a suicide bomber from the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on X, “On his dying anniversary, my tributes to our former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji.”
