Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday mentioned farmers whose crops have been broken by the unseasonal rains and hailstorms within the state during the last two days could be compensated. The Chief Minister gave the directions to the officers after reviewing the injury attributable to the rain and the hailstorm.
The compensation shall be given solely to the farmers who misplaced over 33 per cent of their crops as a result of rain, the officers mentioned.
