Three individuals have been arrested for allegedly threatening and demanding Rs 45 lakh from a Mumbai-based builder, police stated Sunday.
Police stated the three accused had allegedly lodged false complaints with police and native administration and unfold misinformation concerning the builder’s mission. Police officers stated Harwardhan Jadhav (26), Aniket Jadhav (26) and Irfan Tamboli (42) are from Vita city in Sangli.
In 2022, the complainant named Prashant Patil purchased land from Jadhav’s aunt in Vita and began constructing a posh. Subsequently, Jadhav and Aniket went to Vita police station, Tehsildar workplace, Sangli’s collector and civic physique workplace and lodged 25 complaints in opposition to Patil, alleging irregularities in his website.
