Allegations of spiritual actions, compelled entry and vandalism at a contested Islamic shrine have led to tensions and revived a decade-long possession dispute between two communities at Sahora village in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur.
Each teams declare possession over the land.
Based on police sources, the division obtained a report Thursday morning that a number of villagers had gathered on the mazar and positioned a Shivling there.
