A 28-year-old man in Telangana’s Rajanna Sircilla district has died by suicide allegedly over harassment and threats by restoration brokers of a mortgage app.
After the sufferer, Ch Sairaju, defaulted on the mortgage quantity he had taken from an internet lending platform, the brokers allegedly blackmailed him by threatening to flow into his morphed pictures amongst family and friends.
Sairaju left his house two days in the past, and a lacking case was registered on February 27, police stated. Sairaju’s family members acquired his morphed photographs earlier this week.
His physique was found on Wednesday on the Mid Manair Dam in Manwada Village within the Rajanna Sircilla district.
Sairaju’s cell phone is lacking, which the police imagine will present essential proof.
The police have registered a case of abetment of suicide (IPC 306) beneath the Data Expertise Act.
