Days after an enormous landslide at Dipu Dara close to Singtam in East Sikkim earlier this week, the Nationwide Hydroelectric Energy Company (NHPC) on Friday stated that no harm was induced to the dam on Teesta river.
In a press release issued by NHPC, it talked about that “The world of Teesta Basin Area has been topic to periodic pure subsidence/landslides in the course of the ongoing monsoon season.”
