The Sea Section of Naval train Milan concluded aboard INS Vikrant in Vishakapatnam on Tuesday, the Navy mentioned.
In an announcement, the Navy mentioned, “This version of MILAN witnessed participation of 35 models together with ships, submarines and plane. 13 ships and one plane from Pleasant International Nations participated within the sea section.”
This was the primary time that two naval plane carriers, INS Vikrant and Vikramaditya, took half within the train collectively.
“All models undertook a sequence of advanced and superior workout routines within the domains of floor, sub-surface and air warfare together with workout routines towards uneven threats,” the Navy mentioned.
It mentioned that a number of the main workout routines included floor firings, advanced anti-air shoots, superior Anti-Submarine Warfare workout routines with Indian Navy submarines, air defence workout routines towards fighters, intensive operations of ship-borne helicopters, and seamanship evolutions, together with fuelling from Indian Navy tankers.
All of the 35 taking part models arrived on the anchorage off Visakhapatnam and the Commanding Officers assembled onboard INS Vikrant for the closing ceremony, the Navy mentioned.
“The Closing Ceremony included a debrief about operational points of the Sea Section and enabled all taking part navies to work together, alternate views and improve mutual understanding and interoperability by sharing experiences and greatest practices,” it mentioned.
