Guwahati, Aug 27: The PRIME startup hub of Meghalaya may have an Austrian connection.
In a major step in the direction of enhancing worldwide cooperation in entrepreneurship, PRIME Startup Hub Meghalaya organized a roundtable dialogue on Friday, August 23, on the PRIME Hub in Shillong.
The occasion noticed the participation of key officers from the Austrian Embassy, alongside representatives from PRIME Startup Hub Meghalaya, business stakeholders, and native startups. The initiative, backed by the Authorities of Meghalaya, aimed to showcase the state’s burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem and discover avenues for collaboration with Austria.
Outstanding attendees included Ajay Singh, Head of Expertise and Innovation on the Austrian Embassy’s Industrial Part, and Arun Verma, Advisor on Organizational Issues at Vantage Information. Different notable figures have been Aditya Sen, Program Head of PRIME Startup Hub, Jacqueline Swer, Senior Supervisor at PRIME Startup Hub, Jefferson Rani, Supervisor of Partnerships, and a number of other startup founders incubated beneath PRIME Startup Hub Meghalaya.
The discussions revolved round potential collaborations in key industries akin to journey tourism, waste administration, healthcare, inventive providers, and bio-char manufacturing. Following the discussions, the delegates toured varied startups in Ri Bhoi district, together with Rynsan Creation Pvt. Ltd.’s meals processing unit, Whitewater Village in Umtham, Mei-Ram-Ew conventional meals café, and the Ri & Final Eri Silk Weaving & Dyeing Unit.
In addition they held a gathering with Dr. Vijay Kumar Commissioner and Secretary to the Authorities of Meghalaya, and CEO of PRIME Startup Hub Meghalaya.
The assembly centered on exploring potential collaborations to strengthen the state’s startup ecosystem, significantly by way of enhanced market and expertise connections.
