Two brothers, who work as masons, have been arrested after the physique of a 12-year-old boy was present in a pond in Navi Mumbai, police stated on Saturday.
The duo has been booked on the homicide cost.
Prima facie, one of many accused kidnapped the boy from Thakurpada space and tried to sodomise him. When the boy raised an alarm, the accused killed him, whereas his brother helped in disposing of the physique, in line with police.
The physique of the boy was present in a pond in a village close to Taloja in Navi Mumbai.
