A 27-year-old medical scholar died after an enormous rock slipped from a lorry transporting stones for the Vizhinjam Worldwide Port and struck him in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, officers mentioned. The truck driver was arrested and an FIR for rash and negligent driving was registered.
Ananthu, a dental scholar from Mukkola, was driving a scooter in the wrong way when the rock hit him, inflicting him to lose management and collide with the wall of a close-by home.
The tipper lorry was en path to Vizhinjam from Neyyatinkara and was laden with stones for the development of the Vizhinjam port. The accident occurred on the Mukkola-Vizhinjam street at round 7.30 am.
Ananthu sustained extreme head and leg accidents within the mishap. Regardless of being rushed to the hospital for pressing medical consideration, he succumbed to his accidents at roughly 12.50 pm, officers added.
Ananthu was a fourth-year BDS scholar at NIMS Faculty.
