Congress chief and Chief of Opposition within the Kerala Meeting VD Satheesan on Monday accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of making an attempt to “create an area” for the BJP within the state.
VD Satheesan charged on the incumbent Kerala management, referring to LDF Convenor E P Jayarajan’s earlier assertion that the BJP would come second in lots of constituencies in Kerala and that many candidates of the saffron social gathering have been good.
Satheesan stated what the CPI(M) chief said was not echoed by BJP state chief Ok Surendran or his social gathering. He alleged that Vijayan was influencing Jayarajan, “a poor man”, to make such statements to “appease the BJP” on the Centre.
VD Satheesan stated, “The Kerala LDF Convenor is saying that the BJP will safe second place in lots of seats. He’s saying that the BJP candidates in Trivandrum, Attingal, and Thrissur are one of the best. This was not even said by Ok Surendran or some other BJP chief. However the LDF convenor, CPI(M) Central Committee member, is saying so. I might say he’s a poor man. He was made to say so by Pinarayi Vijayan to please BJP.”
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, when questioned about the identical, corrected Jayarajan’s comment and defined the social gathering’s place on the matter.
“Right here (in Kerala), the LDF and UDF are the principle events towards one another. And in that, LDF is the social gathering that can register victory. BJP will face a significant setback on this election,” Vijayan had stated.
In the meantime, BJP’s Kerala unit president Ok Surendran, in a press release, thanked EP Jayarajan for the comment.
“Even when the chief minister and the social gathering secretary tried to silence him by threatening, he instructed the reality,” Surendran stated.
