Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda made his political comeback forward of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and joined Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena in Mumbai. Govinda joined Shiv Sena at Balasaheb Bhavan after assembly the Chief Minister earlier within the day.
Sources instructed India Immediately TV that Govinda could contest from the North-West Mumbai seat on Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) ticket, difficult Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Amol Kirtikar.
This was Govinda’s second assembly with Eknath Shinde in per week. On Wednesday, Shinde camp spokesperson Krishna Hegde met the favored actor at his residence.
NCP (Sharad Pawar) chief Jayant Patil took a jibe at Eknath Shinde after latter assembly with Govinda.
