Researchers of the mechanical engineering division, Pranjal Sarmah and Siddhartha Sankar Sarmah, obtained their patent for Hydroelectric Turbine for Shallow Water Our bodies earlier this yr.
The patented system, titled ‘Turbine Machine for Producing Electrical energy in Shallow Water Circulation’, will go a great distance in harnessing renewable power.
This progressive system guarantees to revolutionise small-scale hydroelectric crops by eliminating the necessity for in depth dams, that are sometimes required in typical methods.
“We want each of them good luck in close to future. We’re pleased with them and we want that each of them will scale nice objectives,” an official of Dibrugarh College mentioned.
