Tripura Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday claimed that CPI(M) state secretary Jitendra Chaudhury would lose his Chief of Opposition standing within the Meeting after the Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing a ballot rally for BJP Ramnagar Meeting Bypoll candidate Dipak Majumder, Nath mentioned, “Each CPI(M) and Congress MLAs are contacting the BJP. Opposition chief Jitendra Chaudhury will lose his standing after the polls because the celebration gained’t have the required variety of MLAs left.”
He added that two out of three Congress MLAs can even depart the celebration quickly.
On the rally, state Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury sounded assured of the BJP securing over 370 seats within the Lok Sabha polls.
