Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) MLA Kadiyam Srihari and his daughter Kavya Kadiyam, the celebration’s Lok Sabha candidate from Warangal who withdrew from the electoral race amid the cellphone tapping row in Telangana, joined the state’s ruling Congress on Sunday forward of the nationwide polls.
In a put up on social media, the Congress’s Telangana unit mentioned the father-daughter duo joined the celebration within the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the state in-charge Deepa Das Munshi.
Kadiyam Srihari, who has represented the Ghanpur Station Meeting constituency since 2023, additionally served because the Deputy Chief Minister from January 2015 to December 2018 beneath the management of then Chief Minister Okay Chandrasekhar Rao.
On March 29, Kavya Kadiyam announced her withdrawal from the upcoming Lok Sabha polls because the BRS candidate from Warangal as a consequence of cellphone tapping and corruption allegations within the celebration.
