A strong IED blast broken a key bridge alongside the NH 2 in Manipur, leaving over 150 vans taking important commodities to the state capital Imphal stranded in Senapati district on Wednesday.
Unidentified miscreants triggered the highly effective IED explosion which broken the bridge between Koubru Leikha and Saparmeina in Kangpokpi district at round 12.45 am, an officer stated.
No casualties had been reported within the blast which fashioned three craters within the center portion of the bridge within the ethnic violence-affected state.
The Manipur authorities suspended the motion of heavy autos between Saparmeina and Koubru Leikha alongside NH 2 “with rapid impact to keep away from any untoward incidents”.
