A row has erupted in Bihar over the state Schooling Division scheduling a coaching programme for presidency academics and an annual examination for college college students on Holi and Good Friday, which fall on Monday and Friday of this week, respectively.
A round issued by the State Council of Instructional Analysis and Coaching (SCERT) on March 20 acknowledged, “Officers involved should make sure that all major college academics (from lessons 1 to five) who haven’t attended coaching session earlier, should attend the six-day Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) coaching that’s being organised by the council from March 25 to 30.”
The round has been despatched to the principals of all School of Instructor Schooling (CTE), District Institute for Schooling and Coaching (DIET), Main Instructor Schooling School (PTEC), Block Institute for Schooling and Coaching (BIET) and different officers involved.
As per the letter, a complete of 19,200 authorities college academics will attend FLN coaching at 78 coaching centres of the division from March 25 to 30.
The SCERT has made it clear that “no go away can be granted” to all involved in the course of the coaching interval.

The Bihar authorities has already declared public holidays on Holi and Good Friday and all places of work of the state authorities will stay closed on these days.
