The Chief Airport Officer (CAO) Utpal Baruah advised information company PTI that the storm uprooted a giant tree on the Oil India complicated outdoors the airport and blocked a highway.
“It was very previous and couldn’t stand up to the influence. Resulting from this, the ceiling broke open and water began flowing inside. Nevertheless, there was no damage and the whole lot is underneath management,” he mentioned.
Baruah additionally mentioned that water entered the terminal from the ceiling.
