Former AAP member and Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar, who was in 2016 accused of raping a woman who had gone to his workplace to hunt assist to acquire a ration card, was acquitted by a Delhi courtroom on Wednesday.
After an “objectionable” video of him with the girl surfaced, the AAP had suspended Kumar, following which he resigned as ladies and growth and social welfare minister.
