Bangladesh’s interim chief Muhammad Yunus spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to deal with the current assaults on Hindus in Bangladesh, and their security.
The decision comes a day after PM Modi in his Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the Pink Fort voiced concern for the security of the Hindu neighborhood in Bangladesh, saying, “140 crore Indians need Hindus and minorities to be protected in Bangladesh.” As per a report by the information company Reuters, Yunus assured New Delhi of the “safety, security and safety” of Hindus.
